Great apartment facilities, convenient location
In general: The apartment was a comfortable size with good facilities including a washer/dryer, full oven and cooktop and a small microwave (low power). The first apartment assigned had a small fridge with no freezer compartment. Reception were happy to move us to another apartment which had a small fridge/freezer. The mattress is a thin layer of foam with no springs but it was very comfortable. The shower was very good and toiletries (soap, shampoo and shower gel) were supplied. Location and surroundings: This was a little hard to find using the address on my booking as there was no number “8” out the front. Look for the “Quality Apartments” sign or “Roman Walls”. Use the intercom on the outside wall to contact reception. The location was a short walk from the town centre. There was some noise overnight from loud people walking past. Service: Reception staff were available and very responsive when we arrived. The washer/dryer was a bit complicated but reception staff were available and happy to help. Dining: The apartment facilities are perfect for self-catering. Useful tips: Parking is an extra GBP7/night and can be arranged on arrival. We were lucky enough to find an on street spot just out the front which is free for one hour from 9:30am to 4pm. No problem overnight and reception staff even offered that we could use one of their spaces for free in the morning for an hour if we wanted to stay longer than 10:30am.
